Before Darkness Rising, before Fangs, I had to learn 3D comic making. What's the best way to learn? Make a comic! This was never meant for public consumption, but as a special blog-only treat I thought I'd chuck it up to give you all an insight into what might have been...
It's not brilliant, and the models weren't as good back then (these were done with Genesis 1 I think, we're up to 8 now!)
So there you go. It didn't really have an ending as I gave up and started Fangs instead. There are a few other bits I have that didn't make the cut. Let me know in the comments if you are interested in seeing them.
Plus, for those of you who made it this far, a teaser, coming soon(ish)!!!!

You have a good understanding of storytelling and your artwork is really great. Hope you find time to stick with ur frequent update schedule. Especially loved it for your last Comic "The Darkness Rising". However, a minor comment to publishing your comics for vampyou. I pay 10 € every month to see your Comics - I would rather pay 10€ for every comic directly to you, because Vampires are just one part of the Story (demons, sucubae the other) and the other artists produce less quality comics. Just as some feedback.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure. I have 70ish pages rendered, but I lost a bit of my impetus with it and shifted over to something else that will be somewhat more epic and now I have 50 pages done on that. It's annoying, but I make much better prorgess on something that I love (hence the 50 page done already). I'll get round to Nowhere to Hyde at some point, but right now it's all about Heart of Darkness.
DeleteYou could give it out in parts. ;) I would really enjoy that. I mean I also enjoy reading a complete story, but I would prefer more pieces that we can get content more frequent :) that was so great on the darkness rising, almost every month. :)

DeleteIt's a good question. I have 209 renders done so far and I'd estimate I'm 2/3 done, but I am tempted to release it in 2 parts, which would mean it's not far away...
DeleteAssuming the comic has around 300 pages (final) a release in two parts sounds perfect. In my opinion, Fangs Part 4 is still one of the best releases you did so far and it had 151 pages. Can't wait ... I'm getting that F5 key ready
