Darkness Risen

Hi all, I've just released the first part of my new comic - Darkness Risen. As you might guess, it's a follow up to Darkness Rising! I'll be releasing in small chunks to keep me sane and make sure that the story makes sense. This also means I can act on feedback if you want to guide how the story progresses :)

NOTE: I'm adding to this gradually rather than pushing out separate chapters, the third section is out now!

    Nice to see more of Cheetah Wonder Woman. Black Cat looks good. Can't wait to see what happens to her

    I hope it's not too early to ask but are gonna see a lot of both universes (DC/Marvel) or is this going to be more focused on just Marvel?

      Never too early to ask. It's more Marvel focused to begin with, but who knows, Mary might not be the last character to make the journey over and she certainly wasn't the first...

    Here's a suggestion for the fate of Black Cat. You could make her transform into something like from the ending of Spiderman Web of Shadows video game, where she fuses with Venom symbiote but doesn't become a mindless beast. Rather, she retains her mind (becomes evil in the process) and gets a sexy venom suit. Here are a few pics for the reference.

    I've definitely got plans for the symbiotes to get involved in the story. Wouldn't be Marvel corruption without them :)

    there is a lot off objects that can corrupt heroes and vilains in the marvel universe one example would be demonic corruption via dormamu or mephisto and the negative zone that is connected to the fantastic 4

    I remember in Cantraps's "The Y snap", Thanos snapped away all of the Y chlomosomes and transforms half of the life in the universe...
    That is a amazing idea this would make a great story, i hope you will use that.

    I know that this comics will focuss more on Marvel,but can we get a glimpse or chapter that depict a live in DC universe under Lois Lane rules? I mean aside heroines hunting other heroines

    This is great! Darkness rising was your best-written work so far, and I’m glad to see a continuation. I’d like to see more of an emphasis this time on the corruptions. One thing I’d like to see you improve at in general is that aspect of the stories. It’s more exciting when the heroines are able to resist for a time, rather than an instant transformation. That said, anything you produce is going to be great, so I look forward to the next update!

      I put together the Supergirl outfit from a lot of random bits and then did the texture work myself. There are quite a few options you could use here though (along with a load of other superhero outfits): https://poserdazfreebies.miraheze.org/wiki/Supers/DC_Comics/Supergirl

    Mix of The Joker and Black Canary have ability to reshape people with her voice. So we have a chance for female versions of superheroes. Also, she is only character from Darkness Rising. I want keep her move on, unless "The Y snap". (I remmenber in Darkness Rising, the girl name Petra changed from Spider-Man).

    I'm going to cheat! At some point (around page 200 when I get there) I'm going to use a model I've already used in Heart of Darkness, but recoloured. 5 points for anyone who can guess which one it is, and which Marvel character it might be in Darkness Risen.

    i am loving the buildup in this first three parts if i was to guess rogue is going to turn to the joker because of the drain tha she has done, logan maybe is corrupted by jubilee an turns to a vampire and mary marvel is goin to corrupt black cat

    Really nice start of the series. Looking forward to reading the fourth part. Hope our Joker lady finds a way to escape - she is a really sexy character and I like her ability. Would love to see a slow corruption process caused by an item - e.g. like the gem stone in your Deviantart story. Keep it up!

    SPOILER! - I love the little hints you put in. For example rogue "drains" joker out of the girl and what she says confirms her transformation: "it is all kinda funny [...] real funny". Love it!
